AMBER HOPKINS - OFFICE MANAGER / HEAD PARALEGAL
Amber Hopkins serves clients and attorneys at Otto & Steiner Law, SC and its predecessor Otto Law Office, LLC, as a paralegal and legal assistant. With an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College and years of experience, she assists clients working through the difficult scenarios that they are facing.
Amber also plays a vital role in running the office making sure that all the details are taken care of so that the team can effectively serve their clients. “I enjoy the job that I do here at Otto & Steiner and look forward to the many new challenges that come across my desk. I will do my best to help you to get the best possible service I can offer.”
Amber has been married to her husband Devin since July 2014 and they have one son Elijah. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, going to her cabin on the Chippewa Flowage, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. She has a love for animals and has many different pets.
ALYSSA CARLSON
While completing her Associate of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology, Alyssa found the legal field a bit more interesting and was soon hired at Otto & Steiner as a legal assistant. Soon after her career started at Otto & Steiner, Alyssa was promoted to a paralegal in January 2021. She relies on her 15 years of customer experience and three years of leader experience to help Otto & Steiner’s clients who are going through unfamiliar situations. Alyssa enjoys the close knit team at Otto & Steiner and appreciates all the hard work they for their clients.
Alyssa has a 7-year old pug named Pugsley who keeps her quiet busy. She also finds time for crafting, reading, playing games and spending time with her family and friends.
ROBIN WEST
Robin completed her Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2020. This American Bar Association Accredited program has provided the foundation for which Robin applies her knowledge and experience in helping clients at Otto & Steiner. She uses her previous customer service and management experience to communicate with the clients about every aspect of their case and to ensure them that they are being well taken care of during this stressful event in their lives.
Since the company takes great care of their employees, Robin believes that this is representative of how Otto & Steiner also treats their clients by putting their client’s interests first.
Robin’s free time is spent with her husband Ben, their four children, 2 boys and 2 girls, a St. Bernard and other pets. She is also a board member and volunteer for a mental health coalition support group in her county. Robin also likes to organize local fundraisers and charity events for various causes in her community. The family loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, snowmobiles, sledding and camping.
